Members of the Croatian Biospeleological society have held lectures and workshops in primary schools in Dubrovnik. This activities were held within the project "Life under the City - richest cave system in the world" financially supported by the City of Dubrovnik. On interesting and informative lecture the importance of biodiversity and underground ecosystems were presented. Students have learned about the importance of the underground habitats, caves and cavers who explore them and cave animals. At the educational film students could see the behaviour and life of cave animals in cave habitats. At the workshops, the students have observed the cave animals under the microscope, learned about caving equipment and cave exploring. At quiz they tested their knowledge and all teams have had a great result.
