Exhibition "Mljet Underworld" was presented to the public on 19th December 2008 in Speleogallery of the town of Kastav in cooperation of speleological club S.U. Estavela and Croatian Biospeleological Society and is open until March 2009. Two years of extensive fieldwork for the preparation of the book "Guide-book through the Mljet Underworld" is presented in the exhibition. Authors of the exhibition are: Helena Bilandžija, Branko Jalžić, Jana Bedek, Tvrtko Dražina, Marko Lukić, Kazimir Miculinić, Martina Pavlek and Domagoj Perkić. Leaflet on 12 pages designed by Maja Sulić was published thanks to the financial help of Public Institution of National Park Mljet. Members of the speleological club S.U. Estavela L. Linardić, A. Rubinić and D. Reš helped during preparation of the exhibition.

Following text is a part of the invitation for exhibition written by D. Reš.

"First speleological exploration of island Mljet started during 1824 year because of the mysterious detonations from the underground. Interesting and endemic cave animals, rarely known travertine stalactites, paleontological findings and interesting mythology of the island Mljet is brought to you by Croatian Biospeleological Society. All these materials were gathered during the last ten years and visits to the 28 caves and pits of this magical island. In the exhibition you can see photographs of small and rare cave insects that can be found only in the Mljet underground, underground chambers and passages, sometimes filled with sea or freshwater, topographical drawings of new caves and many other peculiarities."
