There have been many speleological associations, which have researched the caves and pits in wider Ogulin region in the last couple of decades. The research has recently become more intensive, particularly biospeleological and speleodiving research, which has shown extremely good results. The research has mainly involved the Croatian Biospelological Society and a large number of its projects.
