Lecture “The Year of Cambodia”

The opportunity for a big change came suddenly and unexpectedly. A year of living and traveling in a colorful, relaxed, and the culturally rich country passed even faster. After all, memories remain (somewhat blurry) and images (mostly sharp) of magical islands in the south, old caves in the west, famous temples in the north, and overcrowded but now our Phnom Penh. The expats there told us that everyone who once lived in Cambodia returns there, and from today’s perspective, it is clear to us why. With this lecture, we will try to convey that feeling to others.
