Farewell to Boris

With great sadness we notify you that prof. Boris Sket has sadly passed away.

His life would be impossible to summarize in a short text as he was all-present in speleobiology (as he liked to call it) since 1950’s up until today. He promoted us worldwide, constantly pointing out the importance and uniqueness of the Dinaric Karst.

He was an academic, professor, speleologist, speleobiologist, founder of the SubBioLab at the University of Ljubljana, and for the Croatian biospeleological society a friend foremost, an associate and in the end an honorary member of the Society.
